Reichhold Announces Price Increase on Dion® and Hydrex® Vinyl Ester Resins for European Composites Industry

Reichhold announces a further 300 EUR/MT price increase effective for all Vinyl Ester Resins and any other product containing Liquid Epoxy Resin (LER) shipped on or after June 14, 2010 in Europe. “This price action is nearly exclusively driven by the continuing sharp price increases applied by all suppliers of LER over the past few months as a result of very tight availability of its key feedstock raw materials. The impact on the raw material cost of all Vinyl Ester Resins and other Products based on LER is so significant that it requires an immediate specific price adjustment,” said Alberto Piccinotti, Reichhold commercial vice president, Composites EMEA.
